Is Entertainment Guide

Is sound Dampening Required in a Organ Cabinet. Most Viscount organ has no Dampening inside the Cabinet. My Organ is the digital Viscount Jubileum 227 and the Cabinet has sometimes vibrations. Maybe Viscount did not do much about it to keep the price down?
Is there anybody out there who has done something in that matter?

If your cabinet is in good condition it should not show any vibration unless you are playing very loud indeed. If the organ has been moved a lot and things have become  little loose then it may benefit from so extra glue in joints of other fixings tightening up.

Where is the organ located?

Regards

Hello David

The organ is placed at home for practice. If I play loud in pedals there is vibrations, - but maybe this is normal and "standard" on a Viscount organ?

Before I had a old analog Johannus organ build with a very heavy cabinet, and there was no vibrations.

Attach photo is the Viscount at home.

Best

Arne
