Domus 932 making loud noise on power up (No replies)
Back to Viscount Organs Forum...
Hi,
My son's domus 932 has been in storage for a couple of years, he has just installed it in his house and powered it up. It worked for a short while ( although there was some mains hum coming through the speakers). After a short while it stopped working and when he powered it up again it made a loud (max volume) white noise sound.
I have contacted a repairer who said it probably wouldn't be worth repairing, however I thought I would have a look and see if there is anything I can do, I have got the schematics and know my way around a circuit board.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look ( I have checked for obvious issues such as leaking capacitors etc).
Any suggestions would be welcome otherwise this will be going for recycling
TIA
