HELP! PRESTIGE THREE MANUAL 2001 (1 reply and 1 comment)
I know there are very few professional musicians who can play organ nowadays. I am writing some research, and I have to mention some information about organ, how it works, where to see the best organs. etc. I think people here can help me? I have found some information on the Internet, but I do not know how authentic it is. I am from 760 area code, please get in touch with me.
Hi Here is a tip. Listen to the organ using headphones. If the problem is heard in the headphones then the problem is with the organ. If not it may just be the external speakers that are at fault. Regards David

Hoping for a nudge here which might save time.
In 2001, I installed a three manual Prestige in a large church in Buenos Aires. It has worked superbly and without any technical intervention since new. There are two large Laney amplifiers on the west wall (Pedal, Great & Swell) and two medium amplifiers in the dome eighty feet above the crossing (Positive). The Positive amps are some distance from the console in the west gallery.
The Positive is suddenly behaving erratically. The sound becomes distorted, and/or surges loudly or becomes almost inaudible Any steers on probability welcome. Malfunction in the console or the amps? Cable or plug connections?
Thanks for bearing with this!
