Hohner string melody 1973 Logan (No replies)
Original 1973 Hohner String Melody organ fully serviced, purged keyboard contacts, working like new, fully original, this is the first model, very rare, was sold under both Logan and re-badged brand as Hohner. They weigh 23 kilograms. They have a voltage controlled full polyphony for each key and a BBD (Bucket Brigade Delay) which gives it the distinctive tone of a synthesizer string. The keyboard consists of four octaves divided into two almost equal in the middle ranges. In each of these ranges is a combination of the three string sounds, and can be mixed using the sliders labeled Cello, Viola and Violin. Each note is a string that breaks one octave. In addition to separate sets of sliders on the string sounds, each range has a supporting and releasing slider. The lower range also features a simple mono synthesizer that is controlled using faders labeled Bass and Perc.
All components are original, potentiometers in perfect condition, nothing creaks.
The instrument looks good in a vintage style and sounds great, analog, antique.
