How to tune the old Cantorum II (1 reply and 3 comments)
Hi,
As far as I'm aware there's an adjustment dial on the back panel, next to the midi ports. The centre of travel should offer slight resistance (if it's anything like other Viscounts)-& that should be it tuned.

Thank you very much, I'll try it out this friday and will let you know how it goes!
Finally, I could check the back panel this morning before mass, and there it was. Shame on me, the fact that it's some kind of a wheel inside a hole made me ignore it, even thought it reads pitch. I guess it probably had some tool to use with it which we didn't have, but some scissors made it and I could rotate the mentioned wheel it to the desired pitch. And that was it. Thank you very much!
Glad you got it sorted.
Back to Viscount Organs Forum...
In our church we have an old Cantorum II which works perfectly, but it's out of tune (like almost a semitone above A-440Hz) and we do not have the user's manual so we don't know how to reset its tune back to A-440. I tried to tune it following the Cantorum V's user manual to no avail. So, does anyone know how to tune it, or has the manual and could send it to me? The voices of our chorus would appretiate it much.
Thanks in advance.
