Upgrade Prestige II (1 reply and 1 comment)
Hello Francis,
Thank you for the question. Your best option if you want to explore a 'Physis' instrument would be to part exchange the Prestige II. The cost of upgrading would be prohibitive and would cause all sorts of warranty complications difficult to cleanly define. You can also certainly use the midi facility on the Prestige to explore Hauptwerk or the other 'virtual PC based' pipe organ options but this wil also involve some additional costs and if you are not very IT savy raise issues with which you may need help resolving. Why not pop into Bicester for a chat and explore the organ options available as I think you are fairly local. Regards David
Many thanks David for the very fast and clear response. When I am next near Bicester I will do as you suggest. With best wishes, Francis

I have a three manual Prestige II organ which is midi-enabled throughout. I was wondering whether it is possible/economical to upgrade it to include the Physis system and possibly also upgrade the internal speakers or if I am better off exploring its midi capabilities. It's a great console and it would be super to be able to upgrade the sound to modern standards and expand its capabilities. Does anyone have any experience of this?
NB I am new to this forum so apologies if I have posted in the wrong place or if this topic has already been covered.
