Hello, I have just discovered this forum and it seems to be what I am seeking. The school where I teach here in Taiwan has an abandoned, non-functional Viscount DK500. On power up the power switch lights up and I hear a slight thud from the speakers. In fact, that is the only sound the organ makes. We contacted a technician here but he would not touch it, as it was more than 25 years old. I am now trying to fix it myself and am stuck on the volume pedal.
The volume pedal has an input of 17 V two outputs that go to the amplifiers. These outputs do not seem to vary much from 0.6 V. What voltage levels should I be seeing as outputs from the volume pedal?
Are there any schematics available for this organ? They would be very helpful. Thank you for a great site.
