Viscount Prestige 100 and Batteries (No replies)
Back to Viscount Organs Forum...
Does anyone know whether or not the Viscount Prestige 100 has any batteries that need to be periodically replaced? If so, where are they located? Can I as the owner change them or must this be done by a Viscount certified technician? How much do these replacement batteries cost in USD?
I've heard that many digital organs have batteries that must be replaced according to a schedule, some every 5 years some every 10 years. These batteries support memory functions of the organ, such as presets, memory banks, etc. I've also heard many horror stories about when such batteries leak. I cannot locate any such batteries on my Prestige organ. Where might they be hiding?
