English Martyrs Church Whalley January 2019
After thirty something years the existing Viscount Recitative Organ was nearing the end of its life. It had been good value for money.
A Viscount Chorum 40 was chosen as it has a good English sound with a mellow full swell with a real presence. There are silvery mixtures all under pinned by a solid pedal division. A good accompanimental organ which would be fine for an occasional recital.
On the day of installation, an engineer and Anthony Bogdan was involved in positioning the organ in the choir loft which was up steep narrow stairs. See images from the church on Anthony Bogdan Organs website.
