St Eadburgha’s Church Broadway March 2019
In January 2019 we were asked to recommend a new Viscount organ to replace an older Viscount model of around 20 years old. Interestingly the church is only used once a week from Easter to Harvest and for weddings, so the organ didn’t need to be huge, but did need to be of the best quality sound.
After a site visit, we recommended the Envoy 35-S organ which is a mid-sized two manual instrument of 35 speaking stops. External amplification was not required as the acoustic was very good, and the previous organ only ran on its internal speakers.
The organ was installed in early June 2019 and everyone is very happy with the sound and quality of their new organ.
