St Edmund’s Egleton July 2017
The Chorum instrument in this church plays on internal speakers only.
Keith Starling Church Treasurer. We are extremely pleased with the Viscount Chorum 40 that was recently installed in the church. The church is small with limited space for an organ and this model has proved ideal. It is compact enough to fit the space in the chancel but its sound richly fills the church.
It was very helpful and much appreciated that Viscount gave us the opportunity to hear a similar organ in then church to test out the acoustic and confirm the suitability before finalising the decision to buy. The demonstration and opportunity for the church organist to try the instrument were important considerations in deciding to to go ahead with a purchase. We appreciated the time that Jeremy gave us to set up the demonstration organ and to discus its details. We found all members of the Viscount team very helpful and friendly.
The organ , even though at the lower end of the price range has been much admired both for its quality of sound and versatility. It has many options still to be explored and used.
We felt we had spent our funds very wisely.
