Viscount Cantorum VI plus Headphone socket (1 reply)
When you plug in headphones the internal speakers are automatically disconnected. This is done by opening contacts on the headphone socket. You need to look closely at the socket and make sure that these contacts are properly closed when the headphones are removed. You can see the action by plugging headphones in and out while looking inside the organ and closely watching the socket. If the contacts do not fully close you can bend the offending contact back into its correct shape.

I recently bought a Viscount Cantorum vi plus. After only a few weeks I lost the sound from the internal speakers. This happened after a wrong plug was put into the headphone socket. After removing it all speaked sound failed to come back. I've tried cleaning the socket in case something is blocking the sensor, but to no avail.
Has anyone any suggestions? Perhaps a replacement socket might be the obly solution.
