Alternative ways to holding the back up battery (type CR2032) in place (1 reply)
Hi,
Have you searched online for "cr2032 holder". There are numerous cases that you could solder onto the board in place of the strip of metal which would then allow you to replace the cell in and out as you suggest.
Hope this is what you meant, but do include a photograph otherwise to show what you are referring to.
Best wishes.

With a Cantorum Prestige V, the CR2032 back up battery is soldered to a strip of metal or "stalk". Is there an alternative way of holding the battery in place, without soldering (eg: another arrangement other than the stalk.) It would be great if there was an alternative which means you could slot the battery in and out of a cage/frame. Thank you in advance.
