Connections to a Viscount Prestige V (1 reply and 1 comment)
I think you will find that normal audio jacks are 3mm. Thus the problem is that your 3.5mm jack is the wrong size.

P.S. "3mm" audio jacks now come in two sizes. The originals are now officially called 2.5mm and will always be found in older equipment. The new 3.5mm jacks will only be found in recently designed equipment.

I am attempting to connect a Focusrite Audio Interface to my Viscount Prestige V in order to operate Hauptwerk. I have an audio cable with a 6.35mm jack on one end (to plug into the Interface) and a 3.5mm standard audio jack on the other end (to plug into the Viscount Line In port). However, the 3.5mm jack is slightly too large to fit into the Viscount. Do Viscounts have Italian / non-standard ports? Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how might it be overcome? Many thanks, and a merry Christmas to all.
