Domus 8 stops not working (1 reply)
It would appear that your organ has been severely neglected (possibly in a damp environment) and now has multiple faults. It can be repaired by someone with the necessary knowledge, but if that is not you then it is likely to cost more to repair than it is worth.
I will leave you to decide.

Back to Viscount Organs Forum...
I have a Domus 8 organ and all the large capacitors were leaking or had gone rusty. I have now replaced them. Before I replaced them the organ wasn't working at all, now i get sound out of the bottom Keyboard, only on Tutti, or PP, there is only a faint sound coming from the top keyboard, and you can't play two notes at a tine otherwise it crackles.
The stops don't make any difference to the sound, and do not work when it is put in the HH position at the front or at any other time
