Open up the back of the organ and locate the source of the sound. If it is a transformer then it is faulty as a properly constructed transformer will be silent.
If the sound is coming from the speakers then the power supply is faulty - probably the smoothing capacitors need to be replaced.

Who has the schematics for me?
Back to Viscount Organs Forum...
I bought a Domus Viscount Prestige VIII and I can hear a hummingnoise i guess its a transformer sound. You can hear it very clear since the organ is in my livingroom. I did not notice the sound in the showroom. In the store they told me that this is a normal Viscount phenomenon. Viscount should pay less attention at amplifiers and more for the sound?
