Pedalboard removal (1 reply and 1 comment)
I have a Viscount Vivace de luxe instrument and need to move it temporarily for room decorating purposes. But, although I've removed the 2 pins securing the pedalboard to the main instrument, I can't quite remember what to do next in order to remove the pedalboard itself. Any quick advice welcome!
If it's like many other organs the pedalboard should slide forward. Remember to do this very gently & just enought, intitially, to give you space to disconnect the ribbon cable.
Thanks, Joe. I managed to do it in the end by tipping the main console backwards a fraction and sliding the pedalboard out as you suggested.
