While I am no organ technician, might I suggest that your batteries may be getting low? When was the last time you replaced them? If it's been quite some time ago, they may be getting old, and not so old that they might be leaking all over your components, which could possibly destroy your whole organ, or at least so I have heard from others' horror stories. I would suggest you contact a Viscount dealer as soon as possible and have their sservice person check out your organ!
Also, as a general rule of thumb, I have heard that the batteries do not last more than 10 years on average and should be replaced religiously before the 10 year mark.
thank you. have you any idea where these batteries are located. Howard
No, I just purchased a Prestige 100 and had them put new batteries in it before shipping since the organ might be at least 10 years old and I don't want any problems. As for your organ, I don't have any clues. You have a different organ. Sure wish the manual discussed replacing the batteries, where they are located, and how to do it and where to get replacement batteries, etc., but sadly the whole battery issue was moot!!! Do you have a Viscount dealer/service center anywhere nearby to have them help you?
Hi ,
The battery is on one of the cards on the motherboard inside the console.
Regards David
Why does Viscount include anything about when and how to replace batteries in any of their service manuals?
My user's manual for my Prestige 100 is silent on anything/everything related to batteries and their replacement, even on their recommended replacement schedule!

Hi,
Cannot save the registrations i set. sometime keeps for a few days and other times not at all?
Any ideas. Also if anyone has any information about this three manual organ, would be much appreciated. Think it is about 25 years old.
Thanks
Howard
