I was delighted to get a request from the PianoCzarX to use the soundtrack from one of our organ videos for his next keyboard animation.
The Elgar Chanson de Matin arranged for organ is presented in a very appealing visual way on this video. Seeing the actual note pattern presented may actually help with understanding the subtleties of the pieces. It is certainly more interesting than just seeing the notes on the score.
The pedal part also stays below the left hand at all times so this moving graphic presentation is not complicated by parts crossing over each other.
I have asked that he takes a look at the Widor 5 Toccata. Let’s see shortly how that works out!
If you are interested in the original video then have look on our Music Tutorial Series – where Jonathan Kingston plays Chanson de Matin by Edward Elgar.
I have had a passion for church organs since the tender age of 12. I own and run Viscount Organs with a close attention to the detail that musicians appreciate; and a clear understanding of the benefits of digital technology and keeping to the traditional and emotional elements of organ playing.
