Over the years, we have been lucky enough to supply various instruments to the Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. In May of this year, Malcolm L’Amy, a well-known organist in Jersey, approached us with a new request: to find a suitable replacement instrument for the ageing Rodgers 785 organ at St. Peter’s Church. Which, after three decades of service, was becoming increasingly unreliable and beyond economical repair.
After careful research and consideration, supported by the success of the Viscount Envoy 35-F installed in St. Martin’s Methodist Church back in 2018. It was agreed that the 2 manual Envoy 35-F would also be the perfect upgrade for St. Peter’s.
In our photo above, you’ll see Malcolm L’Amy seated at the newly installed organ, joined by Rev. Robert Harris and St. Peter’s Church Wardens Matthew Price and Christine Cohen, who proudly stand behind the organ, celebrating this beautiful addition to their church.
I have played the church organ since the age of 11. I am organist at my local catholic church as well as accompanist for a small choral group and keyboard player in a function band. I am committed to ensuring Viscount customers get industry leading service and advice, resulting in the very best organ to suit their needs, be it church, school, home or concert hall.
