For our 2016 series of You Tube videos we have changed to present a Hymn of the Month. This is in response to customers requesting recordings of how our instruments would support church worship. The tutorial series has moved to a new channel dedicated to our custom built Regent Classic instruments. These videos can now be found on THIS LINK.
Last November our Envoy 35-F was set up in the lovely church of St John the Baptist in Harpenden which has a particular nice acoustic for a relatively small church. As you can see the speakers were set up near the alter directed high into the north and south chancel corners so a good reflected sound was heard in the body of the church. This is the instrument you have a chance of winning in our quiz. Have you played yet?
Hymns were chosen with a seasonal presentation in mind and Jonathan was asked to add a typical final verse with more complex and interesting harmonies. Some were played from the Rawsthorne published editions and others made up as he went along.
We hope you will enjoy these new additions to our output and continue to view the tutorials (6 this year as last) on the Regent Classic Channel.

I have had a passion for church organs since the tender age of 12. I own and run Viscount Organs with a close attention to the detail that musicians appreciate; and a clear understanding of the benefits of digital technology and keeping to the traditional and emotional elements of organ playing.
